Greensboro Symphony orchestral concerts:
Elementary School Concert Program

Every year, the orchestra performs a series of concerts designed especially for third and fourth grade students. Along with the experience of the concert, students and teachers also benefit from educational resources and curricular materials that support the concert theme. The In-School Ensemble program also helps educate and prepare students for this series. This year’s theme is “Dancing with the Ballet Russes.” The program features music written for and choreographed by the highly influential Twentieth Century ballet company, the Ballet Russes. The concert will feature music of great composers, such as Ravel, Debussy, Rimsky-Korsakov, Borodin, and Stravinsky. As a special treat, our program this year will feature dancers from the Greensboro Ballet!
