Greensboro Symphony 2006-2007 Season

The orKIDStra Family Series is a specially designed series of mini-concerts for three to five year olds and their families. These unique concerts promote listening skills in a fun and informative way while introducing classical music to Pre-Kindergarten students.

• A combination of hands-on activities, provided by Gate City Musikgarten, and exciting musical selections.
• Different groups of instruments at each concert.
• Favorite stories brought to like with music and in three-dimension.

Dorff, "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" ~ bass, cello, clarinet, flute, harp, percussion, trombone and violin with interactive, hands-on Musikgarten stations.

"Toot That Horn" ~ Saturday, February 16, 2008 ~ 11:00 AM

Brass Ensemble Program (with narration) ~ horn, trombone, trumpets and tuba with Mr. Toby "Twist", the Clown.

"Peter And The Wolf" ~ Saturday, March 15, 2008 ~ 11:00 AM

Prokofiev, "Peter and the Wolf", arr. Ramirez (with narration) ~ base, bassoon, flute and trombone.
