Preludes
Preludes are the Greensboro Symphony's pre-concert presentations. Distinguished professors from around the region provide information and background on the concert repertoire. The Preludes presenters combine historical perspective, theoretical analysis, and musical examples to bring your musical experience and appreciation to a whole new level!
For concerts at the War Memorial Auditorium, Preludes take place on the Mezzanine level. For Dana Auditorium concerts, Preludes take place in the Moon Room.
Preludes begin at 6:45pm prior to the Thursday evening Masterworks concerts, and at 7:00pm prior to the Saturday performances.
On Saturday, the guest speaker is joined by Maestro Sitkovetsky at 7:00pm for a unique look at the evening's program.
